Chromium Oxide Cr2O3
Normally green in colour but in some lead glazes will give red and yellow. Pink is produced in the presence of tin oxide.
Normally additions of 1-3% is used. A 1% addition to low firing led glazes with a soda content gives a brilliant yellow.
